Ah Love, no we aren’t talking about the notorious Love Quinn from YOU. We are talking about the feeling, the swooning feeling that takes you over when you fall hard for someone. Isn’t it the best emotion to ever exist? You’ve realized that you now have that someone special. But, how do you let them know or reinforce the idea? What are some ways to confess your love?

Here are some love confession ideas that can spark a new relationship or re-kindle an old one easily:

1. Surprise Them

Old is gold and so is a specially designed getaway for your loved one that is all about them. One of the best tried and tested ways to confess your love for someone is to give them a surprise. Plan a trip for both of you to your loved one’s favorite area or spot. Give them a day full of love and appreciation and end it with a candlelight dinner where you express your true feelings for them. This one works for both new and old relationships, every time.

2. Go Big or Go Home

Now this way of making someone special know how much you love them needs a little more guts than the others. Declare your love for the world in a public place. Be it a concert or a baseball game or shout it out in a video on your social media. This is your chance to let them know the depths of your love and the lengths you are willing to go to.

3. Chocolates

This one is always the sweetest idea. You can make a box full of chocolates with a bunch of things they love. It can be a self-care kit, a shaving kit, survival in the nature kit. Whatever your loved one is most inclined towards. The idea is to give them a subtle way to remember that you care above all else for their mental and physical wellbeing.

4. Give them Time

More often than not, the best way to make someone special realize how much you love them is to give them your time. We live in such hectic times where all we do is work and worry about the world and put food on the table that we often forget what is more important in the long run. It’s that one person we have confessed our love and loyalty to. If your partner is very busy writing the college essay, you can easily ask different services for help with essay writing and let you save time and spend together. So take him or her on a date randomly, plan a movie night, or simply cook them a meal and spend some alone time together and re-kindle that dying fire between you two.

5. A DIY Gift

Nothing says I Love You like you putting your heart and soul into a DIY project for your loved one. Create a frame or a relic of your love, maybe even do a collage of their pictures and all the things you love about them. DIYs aren’t perfect confessions of love but they are the most authentic and honest way to show someone how much you love them and that you are willing to give them your time and effort.

6. Compliments

Do you know what the best way to confess your love is? It’s to let the other person know that they’re perfect the way they are. Sometimes, all someone needs are validation for being themselves. Make it a strong habit to always compliment the person you love. It doesn’t have to be out of the blue, it should be regular and small things like the way they smile, their cooking, their way of talking. It can be anything and you will see that it will change the way their day goes instantly.

7. Hugs

t’s impossible for hugs to go out of style. Even the greatest love poems or romantic music can’t express how you feel when you get a good hug. At the moment when you hug someone – for an extended time – you share an intimate moment of intimacy. Hugs affect the nerve center of your brain and they can increase happiness and productivity.

8. Listen

Listening is sometimes all that is required. You may make a significant difference in the lives of those you care about by just being there for them when they need it most.

Inquire about their feelings and let them know that you’ll be there for them if they need it. If they live close by, make an effort to see them regularly and allow them to vent their anxieties to you.

Listen even if they aren’t going through anything difficult. It’s a terrific approach to show your loved ones that you care by actively participating in their lives and listening to what they have to say. This is one of the best love confession ideas out there.

9. Make Sure You Follow Up

A good foundation is spending time with people you care about, but it’s easy to follow it up.

It’s important to pay attention to what’s going on in the lives of those you care about.

Reminding your friend, the day before they start their new job that you care enough to remember and text them to wish them luck goes a long way toward helping your friend feel appreciated.

After you’ve met up with someone you care about, sending them a message is a thoughtful approach to express your affection. One of the most pleasant feelings in the world is returning home from a coffee date to an email that reads, “It was fantastic seeing you, let’s do it again soon!”

These are small things that can be done to make someone special feel even more so when they’re with you. It doesn’t have to be fireworks and grand gestures. Simple things can be done to show this person that you love them and you take out the time to understand them and care for them. It is as simple as that. You don’t have to worry yourself thinking you have to do something extraordinary when the ordinary is just enough sometimes.
